Squintz is not a registered investment advisor or broker-dealer.
We do not give personalized investment advice. We do not execute trades. We do not hold your money. Every alert is informational only — your trading decisions are your own, made through your own broker, with your own money, at your own risk. Past performance does not guarantee future results. Stock trading involves substantial risk of loss, up to and including the entire amount invested.
Squintz LLC is NOT registered with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) or any state securities regulator as an investment advisor. We are not licensed to provide personalized investment advice and we do not provide it. Nothing on squintz.ai — no alert, no GRIPS score, no morning brief, no dashboard tile, no email, no SMS — is investment advice or a recommendation to buy or sell any specific security. If you want personalized investment advice tailored to your financial situation, hire a licensed RIA, CFP, or other qualified professional.
Squintz LLC is NOT a registered broker-dealer with FINRA or the SEC. We do not execute trades on your behalf. We do not hold customer securities. We do not custody customer funds. We have no fiduciary relationship with you. When you act on a Squintz alert, you do so through your own brokerage account, with your own money, on your own initiative.
A "high-conviction alert" from Squintz means the GRIPS algorithm detected a statistical pattern matching a specific set of criteria (GRIPS ≥ 75, growth velocity, intensity, spread tightness, change percent, time of day, etc.). It is not a recommendation. It is not a prediction. It is not a guarantee. It is one input you may consider as part of your own research before making a decision. The algorithm can be wrong. The market can move against any signal at any time. High-conviction alerts have failed in the past and will fail in the future.
Any historical performance figures shown on squintz.ai — backtest results, win rates, signal lift, equity curves, "alpha vs. SPY," etc. — are based on historical data. Markets change. Strategies that worked in one period may underperform or fail in the next. Do not assume future performance will resemble past performance.
The "Founder's Live Account" displayed on the dashboard is a paper trading account hosted on Alpaca's paper trading API. No real money is at risk in any position shown there. Performance, equity curves, win rates, P&L figures, and any other metrics derived from the Founder's account reflect simulated execution against historical or live market data, not real trades. Real-world execution carries slippage, fees, fills, and risks that paper accounts do not model perfectly.
When we publish backtest statistics — "39.9% win rate, n=1,917 trades" or similar — those numbers come from running the GRIPS algorithm against historical price data. Backtests are simulations, subject to look-ahead bias, survivorship bias, and execution assumptions that may not hold in live markets. Real trading results will differ from backtest results, often materially.
Trading stocks, options, ETFs, and other securities involves substantial risk of loss, including total loss of invested capital. You should not trade with money you cannot afford to lose. The U.S. Pattern Day Trader (PDT) rule may apply to your account. Margin trading magnifies losses as well as gains. Tax consequences depend on your jurisdiction and individual situation. If you don't understand the risks of stock trading, do not trade. Read the SEC's investor education materials at investor.gov before risking any capital.
Anything on squintz.ai that resembles a forecast, projection, target, or expectation is a forward-looking statement. Forward-looking statements are inherently uncertain. Actual results may differ materially. We disclaim any obligation to update forward-looking statements as new information becomes available.
Some content on squintz.ai — including alert explanations and morning briefs — is generated or summarized by AI models (currently Google Gemini). AI-generated text can contain factual errors, hallucinations, or out-of-date information. Treat AI-generated commentary as a starting point for your own research, not as authoritative analysis.
